VIDEO: CHRIS BROWN F/ AALIYAH – ‘DON’T THINK THEY KNOW’

After a few delays, Chris Brown debuts the video for “Don’t Think They Know,” the second single off his upcoming album X(July 16). A shirtless Breezy rides through Compton and kicks it with kids in the neighborhood in the black-and-white clip.

“[I'm] bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I’m from,” explained Chris.

The song features vocals from the late Aaliyah. “Hope this new single inspires change and unity! Life is a Gift. I love doing what I do. All the little things count!” he tweeted.

The video is dedicated to those we’ve lost including Aaliyah and his friend Lil Frogg.

Lyrics:

[Intro: Aaliyah]

I don't think they know the truth - say they saw

I don't think they know, how could they know?

I don't think they know the truth - say they saw

I don't think they know, how could they know?

[Chris Brown]

A-A to the L-I-Y-A-H.. it's Breezy

Don't let them tell you any different (yeah-yeah, yeah, they don't know about us, they don't know about it)

I owe it all to you (yeah-yeah, yeah, they don't know about us, they don't know about it)

And as much as I messed up, always give me your best love (yeah-yeah, yeah, they don't know about us, they don't know about it

Sometimes I wonder what I did to deserve you (yeah-yeah, yeah, they don't know about us, they don't know about it)

They gon' talk about it (gon' talk about it), gon' try to change your mind about it

Gon' tell you things you don't wanna hear cause we good (don't worry 'bout it)

So when they talk about (they talk about it), just let 'em know we already got it

Just tell 'em that we gon' work at it, we good (don't worry 'bout it)

[Hook: Aaliyah] + (Chris Brown)

I don't think they know the truth - say they saw

I don't think they know, how could they know?

I don't think they know the truth - say they saw

I don't think they know, how could they know?

(Don't listen to) How could they know?

(What people say) How could they know?

(They don't know about) How could they know?

('Bout you and me) How could they know?

[Chris Brown]

At my best you love me (yeah-yeah, yeah, they don't know about us, they don't know about it)

Even though I act my worse (yeah-yeah, yeah, they don't know about us, they don't know about it

And I know that it's different, feels like we're best friends

We connected (they don't know about us, they don't know about it

What did I do to deserve you (yeah-yeah, yeah, they don't know about us, they don't know about it

[Hook]

[Interlude: Aaliyah] + (Chris Brown)

How could they know?

How could they know? (They don't know about us, they don't know about it)

How could they know?

How could they know? (They don't know about us, they don't know about it)

[Aaliyah]

Thank you for the autographs, and the tears over the years

You stood by me, you didn't doubt me - I think you want some more

I do more than sing

I'm older now, actin' now cause I got my own movie now

After all the awards that they gave me, you still found me

You didn't play me, you didn't doubt me - think you want some more

I truly believe that if it wasn't all for you

I don't know what I would do

[Hook]

BEHIND THE VIDEO: MARIO F/ NICKI MINAJ – ‘SOMEBODY ELSE’

Nicki Minaj has been going hard with her features lately. Last month, she shot a cameo in the video for Mario’s single “Somebody Else.” In the behind-the-scenes footage, the R&B crooner presents his co-star with a gift before the two go in front of the lens at a soundstage in New York.

They pose back to back, with Nicki rocking a sexy black-and-gold outfit and Mario looking dapper in a vest and tie. She films her solo shot in front of an open window overlooking NYC at night and reviews footage with the director.

Expect to see even more of Nicki in upcoming videos for Ciara (“I’m Out”) and Wale (“Clappers”).

GAME TO GUEST STAR ON ‘THE SIMPSONS’

From Compton to Springfield, Game is set to guess star on an upcoming episode of Fox’s animated series “The Simpsons” in July. In the episode, Bart has a dream that he is the West Coast rapper.

“Catch me on the Simpsons next month when Bart has a dreamthat he is ‘The Game’ in class ha ha ha…. #OKE,” tweeted Game.

He revealed a photo of the thugged-out Bart, complete with tattoos, a Jesus piece, and Jordans, just like the real game.

Game is also shooting a second season of his vhq reality show “Marrying The Game.”

NEW MUSIC: KELLY ROWLAND F/ R. KELLY – ‘DIRTY LAUNDRY (REMIX)’

Kelly Rowland meets Kellz on the remix to “Dirty Laundry.” The Destiny’s Child diva duets with none other than the Pied Piper on her confessional single. Kelly pours out even more of her emotions (“Haven’t eaten for days, haven’t slept in weeks”), while R. Kelly takes aim at his haters and competition.

“See the truth of the matter is everybody can’t do this/ And that’s why I got these shit talkin’ R&B singers on my hit list,” sings Kellz, who previously remixed “Motivation.”

Kelly’s album Talk a Good Game will face off with Kanye West, J. Cole, and Mac Miller when it arrives on Tuesday.

Lyrics:

[Chorus]

Let’s do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

Let’s do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

When you’re soaked in tears for years, it never airs out

When you make pain look this good it never wears out

This dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

[Verse 1]

While my sister was on stage, killing it like a motherf-cker

I was enraged, feeling it like a motherf-cker

Bird in a cage, you would never know what I was dealing with

Went out separate ways, but I was happy she was killing it

Bittersweet, she was up, I was down

No lie, I feel good for her, but what do I do now?

Forget the records

Off the record, I was going through some bullshit

Post-survivor, she on fire, who wanna hear my bullshit?

Meanwhile, this nigga putting his hands on me

I swear y’all don’t know the half of this industry

[Chorus]

Let’s do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

Let’s do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

When you’re soaked in tears for years, it never airs out

When you make pain look this good it never wears out

This dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

[Verse 2]

And it’s almost been a decade

I’m behind them black shades

Roll up like it’s all good, right up out that escalade

Fix my make-up, “get it together, Kelly, get it together”

Then we make up, “well get it together, nigga, get it together”

Kinda lucky, I was in her shadow

Phone call from my sister, “what’s the matter?”

She said, “Oh no, baby - you gotta leave!”

I’m on the kitchen floor - he took the keys

I was mad at everybody, I mean everybody

Yeah, her, her, her her everybody

Five years later, I got my shit down pat

Think I had it good, and they don’t know how bad

Fooled everybody, except myself

Soaking in this hurt, bathing in the dirt

[Chorus]

Let’s do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

Let’s do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

When you’re soaked in tears for years, it never airs out

When you make pain look this good it never wears out

This dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

[Verse 3]

So here I am in the spin cycle

We’re comin and we’re goin

Nobody can know this

And I was trapped in his house, lyin’ to my mama

Thought it could get no worse as we maximize the drama

Started to call them people on him

I was battered

He hittin the window like it was me, until it shattered

He pulled me out, he said, “Don’t nobody love you but me

Not your mama, not your daddy and especially not Bey”

He turned me against my sister

I missed ya

[Chorus]

Let’s do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

Let’s do this dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

When you’re soaked in tears for years, it never airs out

When you make pain look this good it never wears out

This dirty laundry, this dirty laundry

Game decided to finally unload his feelings after losing a close friend earlier this year with the release of “Till We Meet Again (R.I.P. Frogg).”

On the record, Game unloads his feelings and admits he wants justice for Frogg.

“My n*gga dead in his grave and I can’t wear this chain no more it got me feeling like a slave,” Game raps, “So I gave it to his pops in his memory/Loading up the glock, taking shots of that Hennessy/Laying on this table getting tatted/Don’t worry about who did it ’cause we at ‘em/That’s on the block, I know you standing next to Pac throwing up the West Side, Polo to the socks/And I’m selfish ’cause I want you here/But you gone so there’s chronic smoke in the air/And you know Bad A** got a hot head, so it’s on til the motherf*cker drop dead/And even though it won’t bring you back/I’m sitting on Rosegrand just me and my strap watching as the cars pass…”

Game releases this new track titled “Till We Meet Again” in honor to his friend Michael ‘Frogg’ Reshard, who was shot and killed last month. Operation Kill Everything mixtape is on the way.
