TUPAC RECIEVE A STAR ON HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME

Tupac Shakur has impacted hip-hop in countless ways and his reign is still far from over. He made history this week when he became the fourth rapper to ever receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
David Green, the Hollywood Walk of Fame committee chairman, announced Tupac as an honoree on Thursday, along with other stars like Jennifer Lopez and Katy Perry.
This comes as no surprise since Shakur has always been a big star in the game. “If ‘Pac had been in the movie he would’ve outshined everyone,” Allen Hughes told MTV News in January, of Pac almost starring in “Menace II Society.” Hughes spoke highly of the late rapper and his ability to eclipse everyone around him. “As wonderful a performance as Larenz was, I think Tupac… it would’ve thrown the whole axis of the movie off if Tupac was in it, because he was bigger than the movie.”

Tupac Shakur will join Holland-Dozier-Holland, Rick Springfield, Cheryl Hines and more as 2014 inductees into the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
